Ad defence secretary i substituted a citizens militia for florentine republic and rose rapidly in importance. This reform sprang from my conviction, set forth in my major works, that the employment of mercenaries had largely contributed to the weakness of Italy. I am also famous for my principal writings ! Ive written numerous books including , Dell'arte della guerra and Dicorsi sulla prima decadi tito livio. My most famous work is ll principe which describes the means by which a prince may gain and maintain his power. |

| Hello again my friend! Well my time period begun when i was born on May 3,1469 and ended when i died in 1527. The Rennissance was basically focused in Italy. Three other famous people that lived in my time period was Balassare Castiglione, Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael. The most important things being crated around this time period was Leonardos art, my great works of philosophy and the gutenberg bible being printed! Changes that occured during my time period was me writing "The Prince",Henry VIII becomes head of Englands church and breaking ties with rome. I am a important part of the time period because everyone looked up to my work to help them thru the Rennissance! Without my advice on the means by which a prince may gain and maintain his power and the other things, the Rennissance would'nt have been what it was! |
